Our client is a leading Queensland-based university undertaking a major digital transformation, with Salesforce positioned as a core enterprise capability supporting its Digital Master Plan and Student 360 ambition. The organisation is investing in a dedicated 12-month program to establish enterprise governance, data foundations and platform maturity across a complex, multi-cloud environment. This is a well-resourced, executive-sponsored initiative with strong internal commitment to getting it right.
About the Role
As Senior Salesforce Program Manager, you will lead the delivery of a 12-month transformation program spanning four integrated workstreams: Enterprise Roadmap and Governance, Platform Foundations, Data Foundations, and Strategic Use Cases. You will be the key link between executive stakeholders, governance forums and delivery teams, owning planning, execution, risk and benefits realisation across the program. This is an opportunity to build the operating model and stakeholder confidence that positions Salesforce as a unified enterprise platform for the long term.
Duties
- Lead the planning, coordination and delivery of the Salesforce transformation program, ensuring scope, timelines, quality and outcomes are managed across all workstreams.
- Establish and maintain program governance, delivery planning and reporting frameworks that give executive stakeholders clear visibility of progress, risks and decisions.
- Manage program financial oversight, including budget monitoring, forecasting and vendor cost tracking, in line with University financial governance.
- Lead stakeholder engagement across executive, academic and professional services groups, building trusted relationships and supporting informed decision-making.
- Lead benefits realisation planning and reporting, ensuring measurable outcomes are tracked and communicated in line with the University's strategic objectives.
Requirements
- Relevant tertiary qualification in information technology, business, project management or a related discipline, or equivalent senior professional experience.
- Significant experience leading complex, enterprise-scale technology or digital transformation programs, including governance, financial oversight, risk management and benefits realisation.
- Demonstrated experience leading large-scale Salesforce implementation or transformation programs in complex, highly integrated enterprise environments.
- Demonstrated experience with multi-cloud Salesforce capabilities, such as Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Education Cloud and/or Education Data Architecture.
- Relevant advanced project, program or agile delivery certification, such as PMP, PMI-ACP, SAFe, PRINCE2 Practitioner, CSM or PSM II.
