About the Role
We are partnering with a growing sourcing/manufacturing platform to hire a Knitwear Product Development Merchandiser.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on product development, working closely with customers and managing the end-to-end sampling process with offshore sample rooms.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage knitwear product development from concept to pre-production
- Review tech packs and ensure development aligns with customer requirements
- Oversee sampling process including proto, fit, and pre-production stages
- Work closely with sample rooms in Bangladesh and China to drive timely execution
- Track development progress, resolve issues, and ensure on-time delivery
- Support costing, consumption, and material development
- Coordinate effectively with design, merchandising, production, and suppliers
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in knitwear product development / merchandising
- Strong knowledge of garment development and sampling workflow
- Experience handling end-to-end PD process (tech pack → sample → approval)
- Exposure to offshore vendors (e.g. Bangladesh) is highly preferred
