Warehouse- Green Bean Dumper 1st

Position Summary

The Green Bean Dumper is responsible for loading, unloading, and transferring green coffee beans throughout the roasting process. This role supports production operations by ensuring accurate handling of raw materials, maintaining product quality, and following all safety and food-handling standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Load green coffee beans into hoppers, bins, or roasting equipment according to production schedules.
• Dump and transfer bags of green coffee beans safely and efficiently.
• Verify bean types, lot numbers, and quantities to ensure production accuracy.
• Assist roasters with staging, weighing, and preparing coffee beans for roasting.
• Monitor inventory levels and report shortages or discrepancies.
• Maintain cleanliness of production areas and equipment.
• Follow food safety, quality, GMP, and workplace safety procedures.
• Dispose of waste materials properly and keep work areas organized.
• Support other production and warehouse activities as needed.
• Accurately complete required production logs and documentation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous manufacturing, warehouse, food production, or coffee industry experience is a plus.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
• Basic math and recordkeeping skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift and move up to 50–75 lbs regularly.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and reach for extended periods.
• Comfortable working in environments with dust, noise, and varying temperatures.
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift.
