Concrete Laborer

A local manufacturer in Girard is hiring Concrete Laborers to help produce decorative landscape stepping stones and concrete products. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work and wants to learn a skilled trade. No prior concrete experience is required—training is provided.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare molds and forms for concrete production

• Mix, pour, and level concrete according to specifications

• Remove finished products from molds and inspect for quality

• Assist with finishing and detailing concrete products

• Move materials and finished products throughout the facility

• Maintain a clean and organized work area

• Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE (steel-toe boots required)

Qualifications:

• Prior experience in general construction is preferred but not required. Training will be provided for motivated candidates.

• Familiarity with hand and power tools such as trowels, screeds, and power floats.

• Strong physical stamina and the ability to perform repetitive tasks in various weather conditions.

• Must be able to lift and carry heavy materials.

• Ability to kneel, bend, and stand for extended periods.

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.

Benefits/Compensation

• Full time

• $16/hr

• 1st shift 6:30-3:30 Monday-Friday

• Weekly pay while employed through Career Concepts

• Temp-To-Hire
