Heat Treat Machine Operator – 1st Shift

Nesco Resource is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Heat Treat Machine Operator for a local manufacturing facility. This position operates heat-treating equipment, tracks parts throughout the oven process, and ensures all quality standards are met.

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM
Pay: $17.00 per hour

Responsibilities

  • Operate ovens and equipment used for heat treating and stress relief
  • Accurately enter data for parts entering and exiting ovens
  • Process first-piece and part samples for Setup Technicians
  • Review and sign off on completed processes
  • Wash, spin, oil, and dye parts as required
  • Follow all Quality Management System procedures
  • Follow all company policies and safety procedures

Qualifications

  • Basic math, reading, and writing skills
  • Comfortable using computer programs related to heat-treatment processes
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to follow written instructions and process specifications
  • Ability to lift up to 35 pounds
  • Previous manufacturing, machine-operation, or heat-treatment experience is preferred
