We’re seeking a proactive and skilled Engineering Technician to support the development and testing of next-generation autonomous vehicles. Based onsite in Sunnyvale, CA, this critical role offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic team dedicated to shaping the future of mobility.

What You’ll Do:

  • Support and document configurations of advanced test platforms for autonomous vehicle validation
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair complex test hardware and harnesses
  • Collaborate closely with engineering teams to resolve technical issues
  • Assemble, install, and configure computers and vehicle system components
  • Build and maintain networking infrastructure within test labs
  • Maintain lab tools and equipment, ensuring operational readiness
  • Clearly document all processes and progress, supporting efficient project workflows

Ideal Candidates Will Have:

  • Strong understanding of automotive CAN bus networks
  • Experience with Linux operating systems and scripting
  • Proficiency with Google Suite, JIRA, and Confluence
  • Hands-on experience with digital multimeters and oscilloscopes
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics
  • Computer assembly and troubleshooting skills
  • Excellent organizational and documentation capabilities
  • Independent work ethic with attention to detail
  • Physical ability to lift up to 60 lbs
  • Willingness to travel within the Bay Area as needed

Nice to Have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field
  • Over 3 years of experience in autonomous vehicle development or related industries
  • Data center operations experience
  • IPC Certification

Preferred Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related discipline
  • Minimum of 3+ years working in autonomous vehicle support or similar environments

Additional Requirements:

  • Onsite role in Sunnyvale, CA; 5 days per week in the office
  • Travel within the Bay Area required
  • W2 employment only
