Warehouse Associate - 1st Shift - Pineville NC

Nesco Resource is hiring for First Shift Warehouse Associate positions at a facility in Pineville NC. 

Warehouse Assistant with experience receiving, organizing and maintaining inventory while ensuring accurate recordkeeping and timely shipping and receiving processes. Skilled in picking, packaging, and loading products, assisting customers and vendors, and supporting office and sales teams with inventory related needs. Possess strong communication, customer service, and computer skills, with the ability to lift heavy objects and work efficiently in a fast-paced warehouse environment. Self motivated team player with prior warehouse experience; forklift certification and bilingual Spanish skills are a plus. 

 

Key Responsibilities

• Receive incoming inventory, verify contents, and accurately record items in the inventory system.
• Count, stock, and organize inventory while reporting discrepancies as needed.
• Place inventory in designated warehouse locations and maintain accurate inventory records.
• Process customer returns and communicate inventory updates to appropriate staff.
• Prepare orders for shipment by picking, packaging, palletizing, and labeling products.
• Coordinate and ensure timely pick-ups and deliveries.
• Assist office and sales teams with inventory-related questions and issues.
• Support inventory counts and cycle counting activities.
• Load and unload inventory for customers and vendors safely and efficiently.
• Handle all inventory with care to ensure product quality and accuracy.

Qualifications & Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
• Prior warehouse experience preferred.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Proficient computer skills and ability to work within inventory systems.
• English-speaking required; bilingual Spanish skills are a plus.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects.
• Current forklift certification preferred.
• Self-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
