We are currently recruiting for an established boutique family law firm in the Perth CBD. This is a newly created Paralegal position, with the firm open to either full-time or four days per week for the right person.
You will be joining a growing family law team and providing support across a range of senior and junior legal professionals. With further growth planned within the team, this is a great opportunity for someone looking to join a firm where they can continue to develop their family law experience.
Responsibilities
- Prepare legal documents and correspondence as directed
- Handle dictation, proofreading and editing for accuracy
- Coordinate communication between clients, lawyers and other parties
- Manage document filing, disclosure preparation and data within legal software
- Conduct legal research and maintain records
- Assist with client consultations, court preparation and scheduling
- Provide general administrative and paralegal support to the team.
About you
- Previous experience working within a legal environment is required
- Previous family law experience would be highly regarded.
