CoreStaff Darwin have a exciting opportunity for a Work Health Safety Trainer
  
Our clint is a government-owned organisation that delivers electricity, water and sewerage services across the Northern Territory.
  
We are looking for an experienced Work Health & Safety (WHS) Trainer to join the team on an initial 12-month contract, with the possibility of extension.
  
This is a great opportunity to work with a large organisation where you'll help improve workplace safety by developing training, supporting audits and working with stakeholders across the business.
  
About the Role & Responsibilities
  
As the WHS Trainer, you'll develop engaging training programs, support the organisation's Safety Management System and work closely with leaders to drive continuous improvement.
  
Key Responsibilities will include:
  • Develop online WHS training and assessment materials.
  • Coordinate the rollout of training across the business.
  • Work with managers and stakeholders to improve safety processes.
  • Facilitate WHS management review meetings with senior leaders.
  • Coordinate internal audits and manage external audit providers.
  • Prepare audit reports and present findings to stakeholders.
  • Support ongoing improvements to the Safety Management System.
  • Provide general project and administrative support as required.
  
About You:
  
To be successful, you'll have:
  
  • Experience developing and delivering WHS training, including online learning.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Experience coordinating training programs.
  • Knowledge of WHS management systems and internal audits.
  • Experience preparing reports and presenting information to senior stakeholders.
  • Good organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Strong Microsoft Office and Microsoft Teams skills.
  • WHS qualifications or experience in training and development will be highly regarded.
  • Applicants must be based in Darwin and currently residing in the Northern Territory
