eCommerce Delivery Manager - Shopify

Working with a portfolio of high-value eCommerce clients, you’ll own delivery end-to-end: building strong client relationships, translating business problems into clear plans, and coordinating design, development and delivery teams to get great work out the door.

This isn’t a traditional Project Manager role. You’ll be close to clients, commercially accountable for your portfolio and expected to bring ideas, challenge thinking and help clients make the right decisions for their businesses.

What you’ll be doing

• Own the end-to-end delivery of a portfolio of approximately 8–14 eCommerce clients.
• Build trusted relationships and act as a key point of contact for clients.
• Understand client challenges and translate them into clear, achievable delivery plans.
• Coordinate work across design, development and broader delivery teams.
• Plan projects, facilitate client meetings and keep priorities, timelines and expectations clear.
• Manage client budgets and ensure projects and retainers remain commercially healthy.
• Challenge briefs where needed and confidently recommend a better approach.
• Help clients get more value from their eCommerce platform and digital investment.
• Use AI and emerging tools as part of how you work, solve problems and improve delivery.

What we’re looking for

• Experience working within an eCommerce, digital or technology agency environment.
• Strong knowledge of Shopify or Shopify Plus; experience with another major eCommerce platform may also be considered.
• Excellent client-facing and stakeholder-management skills.
• Experience managing multiple clients, projects or retainers concurrently.
• Enough technical and digital understanding to work confidently between clients, designers and engineers.
• Strong commercial awareness around budgets, scope and delivery.
• A proactive approach — you’re comfortable saying “not yet”, “no” or “there’s a better way to do this.”
• Genuine enthusiasm for eCommerce, digital products and your craft.
• Comfort using AI as part of your day-to-day work.
