Apply directStep into a Senior Learning and Development Project Officer role where you will design, develop, coordinate and deliver software application training for learners. You will plan, monitor and refine training and engagement activities, facilitate learning sessions across e learning, face to face and virtual formats, and use learning management systems and evidence to continuously improve outcomes. This onsite position is based in ACT and VIC and offers a chance to lead training projects that strengthen capability and performance.
Required Skills
To succeed in this role, you will demonstrate capability in the following:
- Demonstrated experience in designing, developing, coordinating and delivering learning and development activities for adult learners using sound instructional design principles and contemporary L and D practices
- Proven ability to apply instructional design methodologies to develop high quality learning solutions, and to review, evaluate and continuously improve training programs using evidence and feedback
- Demonstrated experience using learning management systems and related tools
- Highly developed written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to facilitate training sessions and workshops, prepare clear training documentation and reports, and communicate complex information to diverse audiences
- Strong ability to build and maintain productive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including subject matter experts, vendors and service providers, to deliver effective learning outcomes
Nice to Have Skills
- Experience with Atlassian products
- Experience within the Defence Intelligence community
Preferred Education and Experience
- Preferred experience level: Senior, APS6 equivalent
- Preferred background: Relevant experience leading instructional design and learning and development delivery for adult learners
Other Requirements
- Candidates must hold a current TSPV security clearance and must be able to obtain Positive Vetting
- Location of work: ACT and VIC
- Working arrangements: Onsite
- Contract: 12 month initial term with a 12 month extension term, with up to 2 extensions
