Truck Modification Technician

Location: Statesville, NC
Pay: $15-$20 (Based on experience)
Shift: 1st Shift

Job Description

We are looking for dependable, mechanically inclined individuals to help install equipment and accessories on commercial trucks. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working on vehicles, using tools, and learning new skills.

You do not need to be a certified mechanic! Experience working on your own vehicles, in an automotive shop, or in a hands-on mechanical position is a plus.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Installing truck accessories such as fenders, beds, lifts, radios, and other equipment.

  • Using hand tools, drills, and impact wrenches for installations and modifications.

  • Performing basic drilling, cutting, assembly, and occasional fabrication work.

  • Installing wiring, GPS equipment, and other electrical accessories.

  • Applying decals and graphics to truck interiors and exteriors.

  • Following instructions and checking completed work for quality and safety.

What We're Looking For

  • Basic mechanical knowledge or experience working on vehicles.

  • Comfortable using hand tools and power tools.

  • Ability to follow instructions and pay attention to detail.

  • Dependable, hardworking, and willing to learn.

  • Automotive, mechanical assembly, or fabrication experience is a plus.

  • Preferably owns basic mechanic's tools.

  • Comfortable standing, bending, and performing physical work throughout the shift.

Work Environment

You'll be working in a clean, organized, and safety-focused facility with covered work areas and partial climate control.
