Project Manager - Digital

• Strong PMO, Agile and stakeholder management experience required
• Work across technology, business, vendors and senior stakeholders
• Deliver complex, business-critical digital projects

Our client is looking for an experienced Digital Project Manager to lead the delivery of complex digital initiatives within a large, operationally critical environment.

You’ll be responsible for projects end-to-end, from scope and planning through to delivery and handover, working across technical and business teams to keep delivery on track, manage risk and ensure stakeholders remain aligned.

About the role
You’ll be responsible for:

• Leading digital projects from initiation through to delivery and handover
• Developing and managing project plans, timelines, resources, budgets and key milestones
• Coordinating cross-functional teams across technology, business and other specialist areas
• Managing project risks, issues, dependencies and changes
• Providing clear reporting and updates to senior stakeholders
• Managing vendor and third-party relationships
• Working within Agile and other appropriate delivery methodologies
• Ensuring appropriate governance, documentation and quality assurance
• Supporting operational teams through implementation and transition
• Driving continuous improvement across project delivery practices

This is an environment where technology supports critical day-to-day operations, so strong risk management, stakeholder engagement and the ability to deliver without disrupting BAU will be important.

About you
We’re looking for someone with:

• 5+ years’ experience in project management, with a strong focus on digital projects
• A proven track record delivering complex projects on time and within budget
• Strong knowledge of digital technologies, platforms and delivery methodologies, including Agile/Scrum
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the confidence to engage and influence at all levels
• Strong risk, issue and dependency management capability
• Experience working with project management tools such as Jira, Trello or Asana
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience working within a formal PMO environment would be beneficial
• Change management experience would be advantageous
• Relevant tertiary qualification; PMP or equivalent certification would be beneficial

This would suit a pragmatic Digital Project Manager who is comfortable operating in a complex, highly regulated environment, bringing together multiple stakeholders and balancing delivery requirements with operational risk.
