PROPERTY LEASING & ASSET MANAGER | Darwin NT

CELOTTI WORKFORCE is currently seeking an experienced Property Leasing & Asset Manager for our client, a highly respected and diversified Australian business with significant investments across a wide variety of mixed assets.

Based in Darwin this is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Commercial Property Manager or Leasing Manager looking to step into a more strategic Asset Management pathway while gaining exposure to investment, development and portfolio growth initiatives.
  
With continued expansion across their property portfolio, our client is seeking a commercially minded professional who can drive leasing performance, maximise asset value and contribute to the long-term success of a growing property division.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement leasing strategies across a diverse property portfolio.
• Negotiate new leases, renewals, variations and property transactions.
• Manage commercial, industrial and retail investment properties across Darwin and interstate locations.
• Oversee the day-to-day operations of maintenance teams and external contractors.
• Prepare monthly financial, operational and activity reports.
• Assist with annual budgeting, forecasting and portfolio planning.
• Manage operational revenues, expenses, arrears and debtor management.
• Support capital works, development projects and asset improvement initiatives.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with tenants, contractors and stakeholders.
• Assist with portfolio performance analysis and asset management strategies.
• Identify risks, opportunities and solutions that add value to the property portfolio.

  
Our Ideal Candidate:

• 5+ years' experience in commercial property management, leasing or asset management.
• Strong leasing negotiation experience including new leases, renewals and tenant retention strategies.
• Experience managing commercial, industrial, retail or mixed-use property portfolios.
• Sound understanding of property financials, budgets, forecasting and reporting.
• Exposure to asset performance metrics, portfolio optimisation and investment property management.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experience using property management software and Microsoft Office applications.
• Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Commercially minded with strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident with unrestricted Australian working rights.
