As they continue to rapidly grow their development pipeline, they are seeking an experienced Development Manager to oversee the end-to-end delivery of property development projects, from site evaluation and feasibility through to planning approvals, construction and handover.
This is an excellent opportunity for a property development professional who wants to make a genuine impact through projects that improve accessibility, strengthen communities and leave a lasting legacy.
The RoleReporting to the GM - Development, you will take ownership of projects across the portfolio, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with the organisation's strategic and ESG objectives. Key aspects of the role include:
- Managing all stages of development from acquisition through to completion, including feasibility studies, concept design and planning approvals
- Coordinating consultants, architects and engineers to produce compliant, cost-effective designs
- Liaising with construction partners to uphold delivery standards, timelines and quality benchmarks
- Preparing and monitoring project budgets, reviewing cost plans and tenders, and managing variations
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with councils, certifiers and statutory authorities
You are a proven property development professional with a track record of delivering medium-to-large scale Residential projects from inception through to completion. You bring:
- Strong financial acumen, including the ability to manage budgets and interpret feasibility models
- Well-developed project management skills, with the ability to coordinate timelines, resources and cross-functional teams
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and negotiation skills, both internally and externally
- A sound understanding of planning frameworks, construction legislation and contract management
- A genuine commitment to sustainability and delivering developments that create positive social impact
