What You'll Be doing
Financial & Technical
- Prepare and review financial statements across varied entity structures
- Deliver income tax returns and taxation compliance obligations
- Support tax planning, structuring and advisory engagements
- Provide technical accounting and taxation guidance
- Identify opportunities to improve client outcomes
- Manage client engagements and reporting deadlines
- Review work to ensure accuracy, quality and compliance
- Delegate and oversee work completed by junior team members
- Improve workflows and drive efficiency across engagements
- Maintain strong technical documentation and workpapers
- Build trusted relationships with business owners and clients
- Work closely with Managers, Directors and Partners
- Act as a key link between leadership and junior staff
- Mentor and develop junior accountants
- Contribute to broader advisory and business improvement projects
- 2+ years' experience within public practice accounting
- Strong taxation and business services capability
- CA or CPA commenced, completed or planned
- Confident reviewing financial statements and tax returns
- Strong communication and relationship management skills
- Salary: $85,000 - $100,000 + Super + Benefits
