Pay: $24.00-$$27.00 an hour
Requirements: Minimum 3 years on encapsulation experience

Job description

This position is responsible for all activities related to the encapsulation of the product as per formula instructions Work is semi-routine in nature, following detailed established processes and procedures.

Essential Functions:
Performs any combination of following tasks to encapsulate electrical and electronic parts, components, and assemblies with epoxy, plastic and other protective coating material.
Reads and interprets assembly drawings, parts lists, operation sheets, manufacturing procedures and visual aids.
Monitors and controls the curing process to ensure proper adhesion and quality.
Conducts checks on finished products to ensure compliance with specs and standards.
Perform and document completed work via a traveler. Ensures correct specification and function criteria are met per the manufacturing instructions.
Meets productivity standards; completes work in timely manner; meets commitments.
Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness; monitors own work to ensure quality.
Weighs and mixes encapsulating material. Following a prescribed formula.
Fills capacitor shells or semiconductor caps with encapsulating fluid or applies encapsulating fluid to specified surfaces on component using manually or electrically powered syringe or other applicator.
Performs visual and dimensional inspections for in-process assemblies and finished products
Dexterity to handle small parts.

Additional Duties:
Perform other duties as required or assigned.
Must possess excellent analytical, organizational, and communicational skills.
Ability to function under minimal supervision.
This position requires sitting for long periods of time.

EDUCATION REQUIRED:
High School Diploma or equivalent

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Minimum of 3 years of encapsulation experience.
