Job Summary
The Production Operator is responsible for safely operating equipment used to mix, package, and produce chemical products while meeting quality, safety, and production standards.
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate mixing and packaging equipment.
- Weigh and mix materials according to production formulas.
- Monitor equipment and troubleshoot minor issues.
- Inspect products to ensure quality standards are met.
- Label, package, palletize, and move finished products.
- Complete production records and maintain accurate system data.
- Clean equipment and maintain a safe, organized work area.
- Follow all safety procedures and company policies.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- At least 2 years of manufacturing experience preferred.
- At least 1 year of machine operation experience preferred.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift.
- Frequently lift up to 55 lbs.
- Must be able to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment with varying temperatures, dust, noise, and moving equipment.
