About the Role
Our client is looking for a Desktop Engineer (Level 1) to provide onsite and remote End User Computing (EUC) support within a campus, institute or enterprise environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide Level 1 deskside and remote support for IT incidents and service requests.
- Troubleshoot Windows and macOS devices, software and peripherals.
- Support laptops, desktops, printers, mobile devices and meeting room technologies.
- Manage and update tickets using ITSM platforms such as ServiceNow, Jira or BMC Remedy.
- Document troubleshooting activities and resolutions in line with SLA requirements.
- Monitor ticket queues and ensure timely resolution of incidents.
- Support endpoint services, software deployment and patch management.
- Contribute to knowledge articles and standard operating procedures.
- Diploma/Degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering or related disciplines.
- Minimum 2 years of EUC, Service Desk or IT Infrastructure support experience.
- Hands-on experience supporting Windows and Macintosh/macOS environments.
- Familiarity with Microsoft 365, Entra ID and Intune.
- Experience with hardware, peripherals, mobile devices and endpoint management.
- Knowledge of ITIL processes and ITSM platforms.
- Microsoft, ITIL, CompTIA or relevant certifications are advantageous.
- Shift 1: 7:30am – 4:30pm
- Shift 2: 10:30am – 9:30pm
