About the Role

Working within the Infrastructure Planning and Capital Delivery team, you'll be responsible for the management and control of engineering drawings and technical documentation supporting major infrastructure projects.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing engineering drawings, CAD files and technical documentation
  • Maintaining drawing registers, numbering systems and document databases
  • Reviewing drawings to ensure compliance with organisational standards
  • Uploading and issuing new or revised engineering drawings
  • Supporting project teams with document management processes
  • Assisting with the continuous improvement of document control systems and procedures
  • Working closely with engineers, project teams and external consultants to ensure documentation remains accurate and current

About You

We're looking for someone who enjoys working in a structured, detail-focused environment and has experience managing complex technical documentation.

You'll bring:

  • Previous experience in Engineering Document Control, Technical Document Control or a similar role
  • Experience managing engineering drawings and technical documentation
  • Strong understanding of document management systems and document control processes
  • AutoCAD experience with the ability to review engineering drawings (highly regarded)
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
  • The ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy
  • Strong communication skills and confidence working with a range of internal and external stakeholders

What's on Offer

  • Initial 6-month contract with the potential for extension
  • Opportunity to work on significant infrastructure projects
  • Collaborative and supportive team environment
  • Brisbane location
  • Competitive hourly rate

If you're an experienced Engineering Document Controller or Technical Officer looking for your next contract opportunity, we'd love to hear from you.
