Logistics Specialist
Introduction to the job
As a Warehouse Logistics Specialist, you will help ensure inventory accuracy, smooth warehouse operations, and reliable parts availability for *** s factories and end customers. You will keep physical stock, ERP inventory, and warehouse management system (WMS) data aligned while using logistics data to identify trends, resolve mismatches, and improve inventory management processes.
In this fast-paced role, you will partner with *** IT, worldwide logistics teams, local organizations, factory escalation teams, and third-party logistics providers (3PLs) to support business continuity, warehouse logistics execution, and continuous improvement.
You will analyze inventory, warehouse operations, and logistics data to investigate discrepancies, support stock reconciliation, resolve operational disruptions, and ensure inventory management processes are executed as designed.
Responsibilities
Generate, review, and reconcile daily stock and inventory reports, resolving discrepancies within established KPI timelines.
Maintain alignment between physical inventory, ERP systems, SAP, WMS, and related logistics system interfaces.
Investigate stock variances, transaction errors, system access issues, and approval blockers, coordinating corrective actions with internal teams and 3PL partners.
Support warehouse operations, materials management, logistics execution, factory support, and business continuity across distribution channels.
Manage and resolve disruptions affecting inventory management, logistics processes, warehouse performance, and operational continuity.
Monitor ticket queues and workflow activities, routing or escalating issues to meet service-level agreements (SLAs) for response and resolution.
Collaborate with Supply Chain, Operations, Procurement, Customer Support, Logistics, IT, and local/global teams to drive process improvement and operational excellence.
Education and experience
Associate degree required; degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, Operations Management, or a related field preferred.
2 years of relevant experience in warehouse logistics, inventory control, supply chain operations, materials management, or distribution operations.
Knowledge of logistics and technical process flows, including IT flow, ERP transactions, WMS applications, and interface connections.
Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), including 3PL-supported environments.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel, for reporting, analysis, and issue tracking.
Ability to analyze logistics data, identify trends, investigate root causes, and recommend continuous improvement opportunities.
