Job Overview:
The Scheduling Coordinator supports production planning and scheduling activities for Kit Production and Paragon Whole Goods. This role ensures production orders are released, monitored, and coordinated to support customer demand, inventory targets, and on-time delivery goals. The coordinator works closely with Production, Materials, Purchasing, Engineering, Customer Service, and Supply Chain to resolve scheduling conflicts, monitor shortages, and maintain production visibility.
Responsibilities:
Create, maintain, and communicate production schedules for Kit Production and Paragon Whole Goods.
Release and monitor production orders in SAP or the applicable ERP/MRP system.
Monitor schedule attainment and identify risks to planned production completion.
Coordinate schedule adjustments based on material availability, capacity constraints, customer priorities, and changing production needs.
Review material shortages and partner with the Master Scheduler, Purchasing, Inventory Control, and Production to minimize disruptions.
Monitor kit availability and support actions needed to maintain production flow.
Track schedule attainment, on-time completion, backlog, and inventory levels; maintain scheduling reports and production dashboards.
Support daily production meetings with schedule status, recovery plans, and clear cross-functional communication.
Requirements:
High school diploma or GED required.
At least 2 years of experience using computers and Microsoft Office applications in a professional environment.
Strong Microsoft Excel proficiency; candidates should be comfortable working with data and completing everyday Excel tasks.
Strong organizational, analytical, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment and work independently without requiring close supervision.

Preferences:
Experience working in a database, inventory system, ERP, or MRP environment; SAP experience is preferred but not required.
Experience in manufacturing, production scheduling, planning, inventory control, supply chain, or a related operations environment is preferred but not required.
Travel & Work Arrangements/Requirements:
This is a fully on-site, hourly position in Sedalia, Missouri. Standard hours are Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM-3:30 PM, with some flexibility for office-hour schedules such as 8:00 AM-4:30 PM based on business needs. The position is overtime eligible, with overtime worked at the manager’s discretion, particularly during month-end and quarter-end periods. Weekend overtime is uncommon unless business needs require it. Remote or work-from-home arrangements are not available for this position.
