We're partnering with the engineering arm of a global property group in Perth that is continuing to expand its Built Form structures team. Backed by a strong pipeline of commercial, health, education, industrial and high-rise residential projects, this is an opportunity for an experienced Structural Engineer to step into a genuine leadership role with responsibility for project delivery, client relationships and team development.

This role is ideally suited to a Senior Structural Engineer looking to broaden their influence or a current Team Leader seeking greater autonomy, visibility and career progression.

Working within a collaborative and technically respected structures team, you'll take ownership of the delivery of major building projects from concept through to construction, leading engineers and drafters while maintaining direct engagement with clients and stakeholders.

You'll be involved in a diverse mix of projects across:

• Commercial developments
• High-rise residential towers
• Education facilities
• Healthcare projects
• Industrial and mixed-use developments

Key Responsibilities

• Lead structural teams delivering complex built form projects.
• Manage project budgets, programmes and design deliverables.
• Coordinate with architects, project managers, contractors and other consultants.
• Undertake and review structural design work across reinforced and post-tensioned concrete structures.
• Mentor and develop junior engineers and technical staff.
• Manage design changes, variations and client expectations throughout the project lifecycle.
• Attend client meetings and site inspections as required.

About You

• 7+ years' experience within a structural engineering consultancy environment.
• Strong experience designing post-tensioned and mid-to-high-rise concrete structures.
• Hands-on ETABS experience.
• Demonstrated experience leading project teams and coordinating drafters or modellers.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Exposure to project fee management, programmes and commercial delivery.
• Degree qualifications in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Experience with RAM Concept, RAPT, CPEng or progression toward chartership will be highly regarded.
