Production Supervisor

PRODUCTION SUPERVISOR
LOCATION: AVON, OH

JOB DUTIES

• Oversee the production department – people, equipment, process
• Ensure production meets or exceeds standards with the highest level of quality
• Enforce company policies and goals timely, fairly, and consistently
• Ensure that health and safety guidelines are strictly followed and enforced
• Supervise and motivate a team of workers. Able to hold people accountable
• Identify, implement, and drive continuous improvement activities
• Review workers' performance. Provides meaningful feedback often and consistently
• Identify training needs and provide opportunities for cross-training and career development
• Meets required deadlines. Communicates potential issues early in the process with the shareholders and advises recovery options.
• Ensures all required reporting needs are met timely and accurately
• Reviews work orders for accuracy and verify all materials are available prior to working on the job
• Coordinates with other departments to ensure material needs are being processed in order to meet demand

• At least 3 years of manufacturing experience
• Effectively communicate with coworkers, management and customer.
• Excellent planning and organizational skills
• Strong leadership abilities with a major focus on Safety, Quality, and Efficiency
• Excellent computer skills
• Attention to detail with ability to act & think analytically to meet job requirements
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to pass a preemployment screening
