You’ll be working alongside experienced geologists and supporting exploration activities for Rio Tinto, contributing to a significant Australian resource project.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Assist geologists and field teams with sample collection and general site support
- Accurately label, log, and transport geological samples
- Maintain field camp cleanliness and help manage daily logistics
- Conduct routine equipment checks and report maintenance requirements
- Record basic field data and support mapping activities
- Follow all safety, environmental, and operational procedures
- Forklift ticket – required
- Telehandler – Required
- Previous fieldwork or exploration experience – required
- Strong physical fitness and comfort working outdoors for extended periods
- High attention to detail and a proactive, team‑focused attitude
- Valid driver’s HR licence and willingness to travel
