We are seeking a highly capable Procurement Manager, Contracts to lead the development and management of medium and high-risk contracts and community services agreements that support critical business and service delivery objectives.

About the Role

As the Procurement Manager, Contracts, you will be responsible for the end-to-end development, implementation and management of procurement and contracting activities. You will provide expert advice and support throughout the procurement lifecycle, ensuring value-for-money outcomes while effectively managing risk and stakeholder expectations.

Key responsibilities include:

• Developing business cases, procurement plans and tender documentation.
• Managing procurement processes and evaluations for medium and high-risk procurements.
• Preparing evaluation reports, contract award documentation and contract management plans.
• Negotiating contract terms and consulting with a diverse range of stakeholders.
• Administering contracts, including extensions, variations and CPI adjustments.
• Monitoring contract performance and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.
• Providing expert procurement and contract management advice to internal clients.
• Ensuring compliance with government procurement legislation, policies, guidelines and best practices.

About You

To succeed in this role, you will be a proactive and solutions-focused professional with strong commercial acumen and the ability to build productive relationships across a wide range of stakeholders.

You will demonstrate:

• Significant experience in contract development and contract management within commercial and/or not-for-profit environments.
• Strong written communication skills with the ability to prepare high-quality procurement, contractual and technical documentation.
• Excellent interpersonal, consultation and negotiation skills, including experience engaging effectively with senior stakeholders across the public and private sectors.
• Highly developed research, analytical and problem-solving capabilities to support informed decision-making.
• Sound knowledge of government procurement frameworks, policies, guidelines and practices.
