Salary: Up to S$6,000 per month (commensurate with qualifications and experience)

Job Description
We are seeking a React Developer to design, develop, and support modern web applications using React. The successful candidate will work closely with Business Analysts, UX designers, and backend developers to deliver secure, scalable, and high-performing enterprise applications.

The role involves developing reusable front-end components, integrating with backend services, ensuring application quality through testing, and contributing to continuous delivery using modern development practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain web applications using React and TypeScript.
• Translate business requirements and UI/UX designs into reusable, responsive, and accessible React components.
• Develop and maintain scalable front-end architecture and component libraries.
• Integrate applications with RESTful APIs, including data fetching, validation, caching, and error handling.
• Build responsive and accessible user interfaces in accordance with web standards and best practices.
• Develop and support transactional web applications with complex workflows.
• Troubleshoot application issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement sustainable solutions.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code using established development standards.
• Develop unit and integration tests using appropriate testing frameworks.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of coding standards.
• Collaborate with Business Analysts, developers, and stakeholders throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog grooming, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Support CI/CD processes and deployment activities using GitLab or Azure DevOps.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 4 years of software development experience.
• Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience developing applications using React.
• Strong proficiency in React, TypeScript, JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3, and responsive web development.
• Experience designing reusable component architecture and maintaining Storybook.
• Experience integrating RESTful APIs.
• Good understanding of application performance optimisation and debugging techniques.
• Experience using Git, version control, and code review processes.
• Experience with testing frameworks such as Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress, or Playwright.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines using GitLab or Azure DevOps.
• Knowledge of Agile software development methodologies.
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience developing enterprise or transactional web applications.
• Familiarity with Azure or AWS cloud platforms.
• Experience working with enterprise Design Language Systems (DLS).
• Azure or AWS certification is an advantage.
