HR Officer | Temporary Assignment

The Position
As HR Officer, you will support a broad range of HR activities across a mainly corporate workforce, while also drawing on your broader operational HR experience. Working closely with managers and the HR team, you will provide advice, coordination and administrative support across the employee lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
• Provide day-to-day HR support and advice to managers and employees
• Support recruitment activity across a variety of roles
• Assist with HR administration, employee changes, documentation and reporting
• Maintain accurate employee records and update HR information systems
• Assist with basic employee relations matters, investigations and performance improvement processes where required
• Support award/EBA interpretation and provide guidance in line with policy and legislation
• Update job descriptions, position documentation and related HR materials
• Partner with the HR team on key programs, initiatives and general HR activity
• Ensure compliance with internal policies, processes and employment legislation
The Candidate
• Previous experience in a HR Officer role within a large, national or multi-site environment
• Confidence supporting recruitment across both blue and white-collar roles
• Understanding of award/EBA interpretation highly desirable
• SAP and Kronos experience highly desirable
• Strong attention to detail, data accuracy and administrative capability
• Positive, proactive and people-focused style
• Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources or a related discipline desirable
