The Assembler is responsible for assembling, inspecting, and preparing products according to established quality, safety, and production standards. The Assembly Worker works closely with other team members to meet daily production goals while ensuring products meet company quality requirements.Key Responsibilities
- Assemble products and components according to work instructions, specifications, and production requirements.
- Operate basic hand tools, power tools, and assembly equipment safely and effectively.
- Inspect materials, components, and finished products for defects or quality concerns.
- Follow established quality-control procedures and report damaged, defective, or incorrect materials.
- Read and follow work orders, product specifications, diagrams, and assembly instructions.
- Package, label, and prepare completed products for the next stage of production or shipment.
- Maintain accurate production records as required.
- Meet established productivity and quality expectations.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Communicate production issues, equipment concerns, or material shortages to the appropriate supervisor.
- Work collaboratively with team members and other departments to meet production schedules.
- Participate in training, safety meetings, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
