The Group Accountant is responsible for delivering high-quality financial reporting, group consolidations, and analytical support across a portfolio of clients. The role works closely with senior stakeholders to provide insights that support business performance and strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Reporting & Consolidation
Prepare consolidated financial statements for complex group structures
Manage month-end and year-end reporting processes
Ensure accuracy and compliance with relevant accounting standards
Management Reporting & Analysis
Produce timely and accurate management reports
Deliver financial analysis and insights to support client decision-making
Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial modelling
Client & Stakeholder Engagement
Build and maintain strong working relationships with clients
Liaise with internal teams across tax, audit, and advisory
Support senior team members in delivering client outcomes
Compliance & Process Improvement
Assist with tax compliance and regulatory requirements
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency
Maintain strong documentation and reporting standards
Key Requirements
CA/CPA qualified or near completion
3–6+ years’ experience in public practice or commercial accounting
Strong experience with group structures and consolidations
Sound technical accounting knowledge
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines

Reporting Line
This role reports to a Manager/Director within the Business Advisory division.
