Apply directEMEA Recruitment has partnered with a highly successful and fast-growing International Consumer Brand in its search for a Supply Planner based in Zurich, Switzerland.
Our client operates within a dynamic, international environment and has experienced significant global growth in recent years. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Supply Planner to join the business during an important period and take hands-on responsibility for supply planning and execution.
This is a 6-month temporary contract, and due to the requirements of the position, we are looking for candidates who are Immediately available or available at short notice.
Responsibilities of the Supply Planner include:
- Manage day-to-day supply planning and execution activities to ensure product availability across the relevant markets
- Develop and maintain supply plans based on demand requirements, inventory positions and operational constraints
- Monitor inventory levels and proactively identify potential shortages, excess stock and supply risks
- Coordinate closely with internal stakeholders across Demand Planning, Logistics, Operations and Procurement
- Manage and prioritise supply requirements in response to changing demand and business needs
- Monitor supplier and production performance, escalating potential disruptions where required
- Support the optimisation of inventory while maintaining strong product availability and service levels
- Analyse supply planning data and KPIs to identify risks and opportunities for improvement
- Support short and medium-term planning activities within a fast-paced international Supply Chain environment
Skills & experience required:
- 3–5 years' experience within Supply Planning, Supply Chain Planning or a closely related role
- Strong hands-on Supply Planning and execution experience
- Proven experience managing inventory, supply requirements and potential constraints
- Comfortable working within a fast-paced, international Supply Chain environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to react quickly to changing priorities
- Experience with Supply Planning or ERP systems; the role is tool agnostic, although exposure to Anaplan or Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) would be advantageous
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of operational Supply Planning activities
- Immediately available or able to start at short notice
