Commercial Sourcing Manager - Exclusive

EMEA Recruitment is partnering exclusively with a leading international industrial manufacturing organization to recruit an experienced Commercial Sourcing Manager to join its European Commercial team.

This is a unique opportunity for a commercially minded sourcing professional with experience in industrial raw materials, recycling or commodity markets to play a strategic role in developing secondary material supply across Europe.

Working closely with manufacturing operations and commercial stakeholders, you will identify sourcing opportunities, negotiate commercial agreements and build supplier partnerships that maximize value across a complex international manufacturing network.

This is a highly visible role offering significant autonomy, international exposure and the opportunity to influence commercial strategy within a specialist market.

Key Responsibilities of the Commercial Sourcing Manager:

• Develop sourcing strategies for secondary raw materials across Europe
• Build and manage relationships with suppliers, recyclers and industry partners
• Identify new commercial opportunities through market analysis and supplier engagement
• Negotiate commercial contracts and long-term supply agreements.
• Partner with manufacturing and commercial teams to optimize material sourcing strategies
• Monitor commodity and recycling markets to identify trends and commercial opportunities
• Contribute to the ongoing development of the European commercial sourcing strategy

Candidate Profile:

We're looking for an experienced commercial sourcing professional who combines strong technical understanding with excellent commercial acumen.

You will ideally have:

• 8-10 years' experience within metals, recycling, refining, chemicals or another industrial manufacturing environment
• Experience sourcing industrial raw materials or commodities
• Strong commercial negotiation and supplier management skills
• An understanding of secondary raw material or recycling markets would be highly advantageous
• Excellent analytical and relationship-building abilities
• Fluent English communication skills

This is a highly collaborative, market-facing role that requires regular travel.

You will spend time visiting suppliers, customers, recycling partners and manufacturing sites to strengthen relationships, identify new commercial opportunities and gain first-hand insight into market developments.
