Disability Support Worker

We have casual positions available right now for Support Workers based in the Gold Coast regions including suburbs like Pimpama, Coomera, Upper Coomera, Southport, Ashmore, Arundel, Helensvale and Hope Island.



About the role

• Opportunities available for support in SIL arrangements and aged care facilities.
• Work on a 24-hour care model with varied shifts: morning (from 6 am), afternoon (from 2 pm), sleepovers, and active night shifts.
• Assist participants with personal activities, including hygiene, medication, manual handling, domestic tasks, and meals.
• Support clients with challenging behaviours using specific Positive Behaviour Support Plans (PBSP).
• Help participants engage in community, social, and recreational activities.
• Provide support in both group and one-on-one settings.
• Use a company or personal vehicle for participant transportation to community outings.

About you

• Experience in disability care or holding a Certificate III in Individual Support/Disability/Aged Care.
• Be eligible to work in Australia.
• Current "C" class Qld driver's license
• A roadworthy, registered, and insured vehicle
• Current Blue Card and NDIS Worker Screening Clearance
• Current National Police check
• Current First Aid/CPR Certificate
• NDIS Worker Orientation Certificate “Quality, Safety and You”
