We are seeking a highly skilled Program Analyst to join and support our client’s initiatives related to critical compliance standards. This role is ideal for candidates with a strong background in financial management within heavily regulated environments, particularly in financial services or private enterprise. Based in Brisbane, you will play a vital part in ensuring the organisation’s resilience against information security threats, including cyber-attacks, through effective programme oversight and financial planning.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis to support programme objectives
- Contribute to compliance with standards such as CPS 234, ensuring adequate information security measures are maintained
- Support project and programme delivery within a complex regulatory environment
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess risks and develop mitigation strategies
- Provide accurate and timely reporting on financial and programme performance
Essential Skills and Qualifications
- Experience working within financial services or private enterprise in a heavily regulated setting
- Strong financial management skills including forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis
- Understanding of information security standards or cyber risk management (desirable)
- Excellent organisational and analytical capabilities
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
Highly Valued Additional Skills
- Knowledge of APRA regulations or similar prudential standards
- Experience with cyber security or IT risk frameworks
- Familiarity with project management methodologies such as Agile or Prince2
- Proficiency in data visualisation tools such as Power BI or Tableau
Preferred Background
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Business, Finance, Management or a related field
- Minimum of three years’ experience in programme or project support roles, particularly within financial or regulated sectors
Additional Requirements
- Based in Brisbane or willing to relocate
- Certifications in project or programme management are a plus, but not required
- Proactive attitude with strong attention to detail
