Ropes Assembler

The Ropes Assembler produces fall-protection lifelines using various sizes and weights of three-strand poly-blend rope and may be cross-trained in other production areas.

 Responsibilities

  • Read product tags and work orders to identify materials, hardware, cutting specifications, quantities, and whether the order is for stock or shipment.

  • Pull heavy rope from spools, measure and cut it to the correct length, and wrap and band the rope.

  • Secure rope to thimbles, snaps, and other hardware.

  • Splice rope by unwinding the strands and tucking or pulling them through the rope.

  • Use a heat gun to apply shrink tubing.

Qualifications and Skills

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.

  • Ability to regularly lift up to 30 pounds and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.

  • Strong hands and hand-arm steadiness for repetitive work lasting up to eight hours per day.

  • Manual and finger dexterity to grasp, manipulate, and assemble objects, including small components.

Benefits/Compensation

  • Full Time

  • Pay Rate is $14.50 per hour

  • 1st Shift 7am – 3:30pm

  • Weekly pay while employed through Career Concepts

  • Temp-To-Hire
