Production Team Leader

Alsco Uniforms is seeking a motivated and hands-on Production Team Leader to support our Production Supervisor in delivering outstanding production results, quality outcomes, and team performance.

About the Role The Production Team Leader assists the Production Supervisor in maintaining maximum production levels and achieving operational targets. The role plays a key part in supervising, coaching, training, and supporting production employees while reinforcing Alsco's Core Values and commitment to safety, quality, and customer service.

You will be responsible for leading a garment production team of approximately 9 employees, ensuring daily production objectives are achieved while fostering a positive, accountable, and high-performing team culture.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the Production Supervisor in achieving daily production targets.
• Supervise, coach, and train production team members.
• Lead from the front by demonstrating safe and efficient work practices.
• Monitor production quality and customer outcomes.
• Assist with staff performance management and development.
• Promote accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
• Address performance and behavioural issues constructively and professionally.
• Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety requirements.
• Contribute to a positive and inclusive workplace culture.

Hours of Work

• Monday to Friday

• 6:24am to 2:30pm

While Saturday work is not currently a regular requirement, additional shifts may become available during our peak summer season. These shifts are typically around four hours and generally involve processing hospitality linen items such as sheets and towels.

Remuneration

• Hourly Rate: $32.8240
• Weekly Earnings: $1,247.31
• Annual Salary Equivalent: $64,860.24
