The Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Commercial Lawyer to join the firm’s established Commercial team. You will work across a varied range of corporate and commercial advisory and transactional matters, providing practical and commercially focused advice to businesses and private clients.
- The role will provide exposure to matters including: Drafting, reviewing and negotiating commercial contracts, agreements and terms and conditions
- Corporate structuring, trusts and business restructures
- Joint ventures and shareholder arrangements
- Banking and finance matters
- Business and commercial transactions
- Property-related commercial matters and leasing
- Providing practical and strategic commercial advice to clients and key stakeholders
- Managing your own files across a broad range of commercial matters
The Candidate
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- 3+ years’ PAE, ideally with experience across corporate and commercial law
- Strong commercial drafting and advisory skills
- Experience managing a varied commercial matter load
- The ability to provide pragmatic and commercially focused legal advice
- Strong communication and client relationship skills
- A proactive and solutions-focused approach
- An interest in business development and building your professional profile
- The confidence to manage matters independently while working collaboratively within a supportive team
