Furniture Hand Sander – 1st Shift

Nesco Resource is now hiring for experienced 1st Shift Furniture Hand Sander positions at a local facility in Hickory, NC.

Job Description and Requirements

• Hand sand furniture components and case goods to prepare surfaces for finishing.

• Smooth wood surfaces, edges, corners, and detailed areas to meet established quality standards.

• Inspect furniture pieces for imperfections and complete necessary touch-ups before moving products to the next stage of production.

• Use sanding tools, equipment, and materials safely and efficiently.

• Follow production specifications and established safety procedures.

• Maintain a clean and organized work area.

• Candidates with experience in furniture manufacturing, cabinetry, case goods, hand sanding, spraying, finishing, assembly prep, or related manufacturing experience are strongly encouraged to apply.

• Must be dependable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Pay: Starting at $16.00/hour. Candidates with 1 year or more of relevant experience may qualify for a higher starting rate based on experience.

Shift: 1st Shift – Monday-Friday, 6:30 AM-3:00 PM
