Average Daily Census: 56
Position: Staff pharmacist for weekends and as needed coverage for Director
Skills preferred: Inpatient or retail experience
Arkansas Pharmacist license required
Dates of Coverage needed: 1 weekend a month starting 08/22/2026; DOP may need some days of PTO coverage
Order Entry System: HCS; can train
Site Automation: Omnicell installation begins 07/20/2026; experience great but can train
Site Specialty Areas: adolescent and adult behavioral health
Staff Size: 1.2 Pharmacist FTE
Job responsibilities: fill medication orders, deliver medications to med rooms, fill Omnicell and floor stock. Review clinical data and process orders if appropriate for patients, communicate with physicians regarding patient treatment plans, drug/drug interactions, support nurses, physicians, and patients by answering medication related questions.
No tech support on weekends
2 days of hospital orientation are required; then train in pharmacy for 3 weekdays
If a local candidate is not available, mileage and hotel will need to be reviewed by CFO
Dress Code: business casual or any color scrubs besides blue (patients wear blue when they don’t have appropriate clothes)
