About the Opportunity:
- Shift: Days
- Schedule: approximately 3 shifts per week (Flexible, weekday, weekend, and holiday coverage)
- Hours: 7am to 7pm
Responsibilities:
- Manage and coordinate pediatric patient care
- Conduct daily patient rounds
- Support attending physicians and clinical providers
- Communicate effectively with patients’ families and care teams
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary staff in a hospital-based pediatric setting
- Performing other duties, as needed
Qualifications:
- Master's Degree in Nursing
- NYS Pediatric Nurse Practitioner license
- Board Certified in Pediatric Nurse Practitioner
- Ability to perform specific procedures (blood draws, lumbar punctures, etc.)
- Effective communication skills
- Strong collaboration skills
Desired Qualifications:
- Additional certifications in Pediatric Care
- Experience with hospital EMR systems
