Job Title: Head of Engineering
Salary Range: Competitive + Benefits
Location: Cheshire, hybrid (3 days onsite)

This is a high-impact opportunity to shape how software is designed, delivered, and scaled across a business moving from successful standalone products towards a more connected, enterprise-grade technology platform.
The Head of Engineering will lead the professionalisation of engineering across a multi-team environment. You will combine technical leadership with practical delivery involvement, setting clear standards while working closely with experienced engineering leaders, product stakeholders, and senior leadership.
Role Highlights

• Align several development teams around shared engineering standards and direction
• Improve architectural decision-making, delivery consistency, and cross-team collaboration
• Lead the engineering contribution to a common platform and data-layer programme

• The ability to influence experienced engineers without removing team autonomy
• A practical approach to engineering governance, architecture, and delivery discipline
• Confidence translating business priorities into clear technical recommendations
