About the Role

An exciting opportunity has become available for 2 x Dewatering Technicians to join a leading gold mining operation in Western Australia.

Clarity Partners is currently recruiting on behalf of a respected mining client seeking experienced Dewatering Technicians to support critical dewatering operations. With a 2/2 FIFO roster, ASAP start dates, and ongoing work available, this is an excellent opportunity to join a high-performing mining team.

Key Responsibilities

As a Dewatering Technician, you'll be responsible for maintaining and operating mine dewatering systems to ensure safe and efficient pit operations.

Your duties will include:

  • Installation and removal of submersible bore pump systems
  • Operating and maintaining high-lift dewatering pumps
  • In-pit dewatering to support mining operations
  • HDPE pipeline installation and poly welding
  • Preventative maintenance and breakdown repairs
  • Maintaining safe work practices at all times
 


About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Previous in-pit dewatering experience (essential)
  • Gold mining dewatering experience (highly regarded)
  • Experience with high-lift dewatering pumps
  • Experience installing and removing submersible bore pump systems
  • Current Poly Welding Ticket (issued within the last two years)
  • IT Loader Ticket
  • HR Truck Licence (minimum C Class Driver's Licence will be considered)
  • CN Franna High Risk Work Licence
  • DG Dogman High Risk Work Licence
  • Excavator experience (desirable but not essential)
  • Strong commitment to safety and teamwork
