NetSuite Implementation PM Lead

We are looking for an experienced NetSuite Implementation PM Lead to support an upcoming ERP implementation currently in the discovery stage.

The successful candidate will act as the key bridge between the business, functional stakeholders, finance and operations teams, and the NetSuite implementation partner. This role requires someone who can represent the organisation effectively, structure requirements, support decision-making, and ensure the implementation is set up for successful delivery.

The ideal candidate will have strong NetSuite implementation experience, solid ERP project management capability, and the ability to work closely with senior stakeholders across Finance, Operations, Procurement, Sales Operations, IT and other business functions.

Key Responsibilities:

- Act as the organisation’s primary representative in discussions with the NetSuite implementation partner and vendor teams.

- Partner with business stakeholders across Finance, Operations, Procurement, Sales Operations, IT and leadership teams to understand business needs, current processes and implementation priorities.

- Support the discovery phase by gathering, clarifying and documenting business, functional and reporting requirements.

- Translate business requirements into clear input for the implementation team.

- Facilitate workshops, project meetings, stakeholder discussions and decision-making sessions.

- Help define the ERP implementation roadmap, project governance, milestones, risks, dependencies and key deliverables.

- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure requirements are aligned, validated and appropriately prioritised.

- Support the transition from discovery into design, configuration, testing, deployment and eventual support phases.

- Coordinate UAT activities, issue tracking, feedback consolidation and resolution follow-up when the project reaches testing stage.

- Support data migration preparation, process mapping, user readiness, change management and training coordination.

- Coordinate training and knowledge transfer for a future internal hire or internal support team who will take ownership during the support phase.

- Ensure documentation, decisions, processes and system knowledge are captured clearly to support future internal ownership.

- Provide regular updates to senior stakeholders on project progress, risks, issues and required decisions.

Required Experience:

- Proven experience as a NetSuite Implementation Project Manager, ERP Project Manager, ERP Lead, Finance Systems Project Manager, Business Systems Lead or ERP Consultant.

- Strong experience supporting or leading NetSuite ERP implementation projects.

- Good understanding of ERP implementation lifecycles, from discovery and requirements gathering through to design, testing, deployment and post-go-live support.

- Experience working with Finance and operational stakeholders on ERP or business systems transformation projects.

- Ability to engage confidently with senior stakeholders, functional leads, implementation partners and vendor teams.

- Strong project management skills, including planning, governance, RAID management, timeline tracking and stakeholder reporting.

- Experience gathering, documenting and validating business and functional requirements.

- Strong facilitation skills, with the ability to run workshops and align stakeholders across different business functions or markets.

- Good understanding of finance and business processes such as general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, procurement, order-to-cash, reporting and approvals.

- Excellent communication, organisation and stakeholder management skills.

- Ability to join at an early discovery stage and bring structure, clarity and momentum to the project.

Preferred Experience:

- Hands-on experience with Oracle NetSuite implementation projects.

- Experience with NetSuite modules such as Financials, OneWorld, Procurement, Order Management, Inventory, CRM, Billing, Revenue Recognition, Fixed Assets or Reporting.

- Experience with other ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle ERP Cloud, Microsoft Dynamics 365, Workday Financials, Sage Intacct or similar platforms.

- Regional or multi-entity ERP implementation experience.

- Experience with finance transformation, process standardisation, shared services, reporting automation or operational improvement projects.

- Prior consulting, client-facing or implementation partner management experience.

- Experience coordinating knowledge transfer, training or transition activities for internal support teams.

Ideal Candidate:

They should understand finance and operational processes well enough to challenge requirements, clarify priorities and ensure the implementation team receives practical, business-ready input.

This role does not require a purely technical NetSuite configurator, but the candidate should have strong ERP implementation delivery experience, project governance capability, stakeholder management skills, and confidence supporting the business from discovery through to implementation and support transition.
