Manukau Toyota Group is looking for an experienced Workshop Foreman to join our busy aftersales team in Manukau.
This is a hands-on leadership role supporting the Workshop Manager and leading the day-to-day operations of a high-performing workshop.
You'll be the technical leader on the workshop floor, providing guidance to technicians, assisting with complex diagnostics, managing workflow, and ensuring vehicles leave the workshop to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities
- Support the Workshop Manager with daily workshop operations
- Allocate jobs and manage workshop workflow
- Provide technical guidance and mentoring to technicians and apprentices
- Assist with advanced diagnostics and complex repairs
- Monitor productivity and workshop efficiency
- Carry out quality control checks to ensure work meets manufacturer standards
- Liaise closely with Service Advisors to ensure smooth communication and job flow
- Support the development and training of workshop staff
- Maintain a safe and organised workshop environment
- Help drive continuous improvement across workshop processes
About You
- Proven experience as a Workshop Foreman, Senior Technician, Diagnostic Technician, or Lead Technician
- Strong technical and diagnostic skills
- Previous dealership experience
- Natural leadership ability with a hands-on approach
- Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a busy workshop environment
- Excellent communication skills and a team-focused attitude
- Full NZ Driver Licence
