Clinical Nurse – Aged Care | 6-Month Contract Bundaberg, QLD | October 2026 – March 2027 | Agency Pay Rates

Talent Quarter is urgently seeking an experienced Clinical Nurse for a 6-month aged care contract with a leading, family-run residential aged care provider in Bundaberg.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Clinical Nurse, Clinical Care Coordinator or senior Registered Nurse to join a supportive team during an important period as the facility prepares for re-accreditation.

The Role Working closely with the facility's clinical and management team, you will provide hands-on clinical leadership while supporting the home through its upcoming re-accreditation.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Supporting clinical governance and quality improvement
• Reviewing care plans, assessments and clinical documentation
• Ensuring documentation is accurate, current and audit-ready
• Supporting preparation for aged care re-accreditation
• Conducting clinical audits and identifying areas for improvement
• Monitoring incidents, wounds, medications, falls and clinical risk
• Supporting compliance with the Aged Care Quality Standards
• Coaching and supporting RNs and care staff
• Providing clinical leadership across the facility

About You We are looking for an experienced aged care clinician who can confidently step into a contract environment and make an immediate impact.

You will ideally have:

• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
• Strong Residential Aged Care experience
• Previous Clinical Nurse, Clinical Care Coordinator or senior RN experience
• Sound knowledge of accreditation, clinical governance and compliance
• Strong auditing and clinical documentation skills
• Knowledge of the Aged Care Quality Standards
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Ability to commit through to March 2027
• Current police check within 6 months, serology and compliance documents up to date
