Key Responsibilities
• Leads discovery with business units and SMEs to understand goals, user needs, and operational challenges
• Translates business concepts into clear user stories, features, workflows, acceptance criteria, and business rules
• Ensures requirements are testable, unambiguous, and aligned with product outcomes and value
• Identifies and resolves requirement gaps early, long before development or testing begins
• Maintains clear, evolving documentation that supports iterative delivery, including requirements, process flows, acceptance criteria, and user?facing artifacts.
• Partners with Development, Testing, Data, OCM/Training, and Implementation teams to ensure shared understanding
• Identifies cross?impacts and dependencies across workstreams and collaborates with delivery leadership to ensure coordinated action.
• Breaks down complex or ambiguous problems into structured, actionable insights
• Performs end to end analysis across workflows, systems, and data to uncover root causes
• Supports testing by ensuring coverage aligns with requirements and validating delivered functionality
• Supports UAT planning and readiness by validating test coverage against requirements, coordinating business tester engagement, and ensuring clear acceptance criteria.
• Ensures full traceability of requirements from business needs to delivered functionality
• Collaborates with vendor business analysts, delivery teams, and product specialists to ensure alignment of requirements and solution intent
• Works closely with Product Owners to refine features, define value, and support backlog prioritization
• Focuses on user value, outcomes, and measurable business impact
• Supports iterative delivery and continuous learning cycles
Required Skills & Experience
• Experience as a Business Analyst, Product Analyst, or similar role
• Strong analytical, investigative, and critical thinking skills
• Proven ability to create clarity, structure ambiguity, and drive alignment across teams
• Experience translating complex business needs into structured requirements, workflows, and acceptance criteria
• Ability to independently uncover answers, resolve requirement gaps, and drive progress without waiting for direction
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work across business and technical teams
• Experience working in Agile, iterative, or fast paced delivery environments (preferred)

Education
• Bachelor’s degree in business, public administration, information systems, computer science, or a related field
• Equivalent professional experience may substitute for a degree
• Certifications in Business Analysis, Agile, Scrum, Product Ownership, or related areas are beneficial but not required
