The Role
- Reviewing debtor reports and monitoring outstanding accounts receivable balances.
- Following up overdue accounts and coordinate debt recovery activities.
- Investigate and resolving payment discrepancies and account queries.
- Processing customer payments and maintaining accurate account records.
- Preparing, issuing, and distributing invoices in a timely manner.
- Update and maintaining customer information within internal systems.
- Liaising with external agencies and stakeholders regarding invoicing and payment matters.
- Identifying anomalies and investigating issues impacting invoicing accuracy and debt recovery
- Maintaining compliance with company policies and financial processing procedures.
- Previous experience in an Accounts Receivable, Credit Control position
- Experience with invoicing, debtor management, payment allocation, and collections processes.
- Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to your work.
- Experience working within financial policies and procedures.
- Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills, including functions such as Pivot Tables and VLOOKUPs.
- Strong problem-solving, planning, and prioritisation skills.
- The ability to investigate discrepancies and identify solutions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
