Senior Cost Modelling & Value Analyst

This is a great opportunity to join a large, complex and asset-intensive organisation undergoing significant investment and change. You'll play a key role in understanding cost drivers, improving financial models and helping the business make better, more informed decisions.

What you'll be doing...

• Developing and refining driver-based cost models
• Supporting Opex, Totex, NPV and whole-of-life cost analysis
• Identifying cost drivers, efficiencies and opportunities for savings
• Scenario modelling and analysis to support investment decisions
• Tracking whether initiatives are delivering the expected value
• Turning operational information into meaningful financial insights
• Working across finance, operations, engineering and senior leadership
• Improving modelling tools, processes and consistency

You'll have strong experience across cost modelling, FP&A, financial analytics or commercial finance, with advanced Excel modelling skills including Power BI.

We're looking for someone with a naturally inquisitive and analytical mind - you like getting under the hood, challenging assumptions and understanding the story behind the numbers.

You'll also need to be a strong communicator who can build relationships at all levels. Experience within infrastructure, utilities, manufacturing or another asset-intensive environment would be advantageous, as would exposure to Totex, Power BI or regulatory environments.
