A Korean banking group's Hong Kong office is hiring into its debt capital markets function, at Analyst through Associate level. This is a fresh-graduate-friendly opening that also welcomes candidates with up to around three years of relevant experience. The role sits on the origination and execution side of bond deals supporting issuer-facing pitches, building out investor-facing documentation, and coordinating the moving parts of each transaction between the Hong Kong office and Head Office in Korea.

What You'll Do

  • Build pitch materials and proposals aimed at prospective corporate bond issuers.

  • Draft marketing decks and information memoranda for counterparties.

  • Produce private placement memoranda for prospective investors and respond to their follow-up questions.

  • Coordinate closely with Head Office and local teams to manage each transaction from start to finish.

  • Draft credit proposals for submission to credit committees.

  • Stay current with and adhere to internal policy as well as Head Office, regulatory, and government requirements.

  • Compile periodic and ad hoc reporting on the fixed income book and bond issuance activity for Head Office and local management.

  • Complete the HKSI Paper 1 licensing exam within the probation window.

  • Support other ad hoc tasks as needed.

Candidate Profile

  • Level: Analyst to Associate

  • Experience: Fresh graduate to 3+ years of relevant experience

  • Languages: Native-level Korean and English

  • Work eligibility: Must be permitted to work in Hong Kong

  • Licensing: Willingness to sit and pass HKSI Paper 1 during probation

  • Final compensation will be decided based on the level of experience
