About the RoleAs a Customer Service Officer, you will play a vital role in supporting customers and internal teams by managing orders, responding to enquiries, and ensuring seamless communication throughout the customer journey.
Key Responsibilities
- Process customer sales orders accurately using SAP
- Provide customers with updates regarding stock availability, pricing, delivery delays, and estimated arrival times
- Follow up with customers before and after service delivery
- Respond to product, order, and delivery enquiries via phone and email
- Manage repair and credit enquiries from existing customers
- Generate daily sales order reports and other reports as required
- Liaise with freight providers to coordinate deliveries
- Monitor and check stock availability to support customer requirements
- Previous experience in a customer service role within a product-based environment
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- A proactive and team-focused approach
- Experience using SAP and Microsoft Office (highly regarded)
- Hybrid working arrangement – work from home up to 2 days per week after completing probation
